About Me

I am a former Royal Air Force engineer with twelve years of service both in the UK and abroad, including two meaningful tours in Cyprus. After my time with the RAF, I spent another twelve years immersed in the world of the rapidly expanding Internet technologies arena, with a significant portion of that time spent in The Netherlands. My career then took me to incredible places, and over five years, I was fortunate enough to travel to seventy-three countries, experiencing the rich diversity of our world.

However, life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with Metastatic Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC) of unknown origin. By the time treatment began, the cancer had already spread to right and left lymph nodes in my neck. The journey through this challenging period has been both physically and emotionally demanding. The lingering feelings of guilt, the haunting presence of the disease, cancer ghosting and the loss of employment have all taken their toll.

Amidst these trials, Macks Laser Creations was born. The creative process has played a vital role in my recovery, helping me rediscover purpose and strength. After months of testing, experimenting, and overcoming obstacles, I feel ready to share this new chapter with you.

Thank you
David.
